Dear Evan Hansen

 Rated: PG-13

Runtime: 2 hours, 17 minutes

Release Date: September 24, 2021

Director: Stephen Chbosky

Starring: Ben Platt, Kaitlyn Dever, Amy Adams, Julianne Moore

This adaptation of the Broadway Musical Dear Evan Hansen,  is about a high school senior with Social Anxiety disorder named Evan Hansen (Platt), who goes through a journey of self-discovery and acceptance following the suicide of his fellow classmate Connor Murphy. This Movie, is a good movie. I think it's better than the movie In the Heights, which is also a Broadway-to-film adaptation, and I think I'll get the blu-ray when it comes out. it deals with Social Anxiety, suicide, and death I think, in a way that I think is the the best way that they're dealt with in the movies that I've seen in probably ever! Parents, I think they could've cut just a little bit of stuff out of this movie in order to get it down to a PG. It may not be for your little ones, but your teens might be ok with it. During the journey, the unlikely pair faces unexpecting challenges, the world-weary horseman may find his own sense of redemption through teaching the boy what it means to be a good man.

I thought it was a good movie, and I'll definitely rent this one when it comes out on Blu-Ray. I think this film is aimed toward the Senior-Age Demographic So Parents, I don't think this movie is gonna be of any interest to small kids. But Teens, they might like it a little bit, but probably not very much. And, there's also a little bit of foul language in it. So, parents I'd keep your young ones away from this film, but grandparents might like it.

Paw Patrol: The Movie

 Rated: G

Runtime: 1 hour 26 minutes

Release Date: August 20, 2021

Director: Cal Brunker

Featuring The Voices of: Tyler Perry, Jimmy Kimmel, Kim Kardashian

Based on the cartoon show Paw Patrol, Ryder and everyone's favorite heroic pups kick into high gear to stop the mayor of a nearby city from wreaking havoc! While one of the pups must face his past in that city, the team finds help from the savvy dachshund liberty. Together, armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW patrol fight to save the city, and stop their mayor from destroying the bustling metropolis!

I thought this movie was good, and I enjoyed the picture. It's a good, fun, family-friendly movie. It does, however, does dive into the topic of PTSD a little bit, so for those of you who are veterans, or anyone else that deals with the disorder, there's the warning. Parents, this is obviously a family movie, so aside from the PTSD, there's family-fun for everyone! If you haven't already, take the whole family (including the kids of course) to see it in a theater, and not on streaming!

This film is set in a video game called Free City, and it's about a bank teller (Reynolds), who discovers he's a Non Player Character, and the makers of that game have a huge secret. I thought that this was a pretty good movie, and I think your gonna have a pretty good time at the movies. Parents, this is a PG-13 rated film and believe it or not, when I first heard about this movie, I thought it was gonna be rated PG. But, the language in the film is apparently too strong for PG. Jungle Cruise

 Rated: PG-13

Runtime: 2 hours 7 minutes

Release Date: July 30, 2021

Director: Jaume Collet-Serra

This latest flick that's based on a Disneyland attraction, is about an adventurer named Lily Houghton (Blunt) who goes on adventure through the jungle with a "Skipper" named Frank Wolff (Johnson), and they encounter dangerous animals and reptiles, but with a supernatural element. This movie, is a fun, enjoyable movie. It certainly has the spirit of movies like Indiana Jones, and The Mummy from 1999. Parents, this is a PG-13 Rated Disney Film, even though it has the Disney title on it, I'd be cautious about taking your little kids to this film. So, I'd click here if i were you,
and check the Parents Guide on IMDB before taking your kids. OR, before letting them watch it on Disney Plus. Otherwise, it's a fairly good movie.

Old

 Rated: PG-13

Runtime: 1 hour 48 minutes

Release Date: July 23, 2021

Director: M. Night Shyamalan

Starring: Gael Garcia Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Alex Wolff, Thomasin Mckenzie

This latest flick from Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, is about two families who go on vacation to a mysterious beach that makes people age rapidly within the matter of one day. This is a pretty good and intense film, I think the average moviegoer is gonna like it, and there's a plot twist towards the end that I think will surprise you. Parents, I don't think your kids would be interested in this film, and on top of that, like I said, this film is intense, and it's got a lot of stuff that I think your kids may not like. So, I wouldn't take them to see this movie if I were you. But other than that, I think the average moviegoer is gonna like this. Yes I know, some people may not like it but, that's just my opinion. Definitely getting the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

This is a fun film, and I think it's better than the first film! Seriously, How many good movies do I have to see that get trashed by the internet! Seriously, C'mon people! It's full of references to characters like Batman, and Superman. By the way, that's the only spoilers your getting. Well, at least from me. Parents, this is a obviously a kids film, so take them to the theater to see it! and don't watch it via HBOMax, that's not the proper way to see a new movie.

She now reunites with her sister Yelena (Pugh), and her parents to stop a force that will stop at nothing to bringer her down. I thought it was a ok movie, not a bad film. But, just your average summer blockbuster popcorn movie. It's not as good as Avengers: Endgame but, if your a true hardcore marvel fan, I think you'll be fine with it. Parents, there is your average amount of PG-13 violence, so I'd click here, to go to the IMDB parent's guide to decide to whether or not let your kids see it.
