Jungle Cruise
Runtime: 2 hours 7 minutes
Release Date: July 30, 2021
Director: Jaume Collet-Serra
Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt
This latest flick that's based on a Disneyland attraction, is about an adventurer named Lily Houghton (Blunt) who goes on adventure through the jungle with a "Skipper" named Frank Wolff (Johnson), and they encounter dangerous animals and reptiles, but with a supernatural element. This movie, is a fun, enjoyable movie. It certainly has the spirit of movies like Indiana Jones, and The Mummy from 1999. Parents, this is a PG-13 Rated Disney Film, even though it has the Disney title on it, I'd be cautious about taking your little kids to this film. So, I'd click here if i were you,
and check the Parents Guide on IMDB before taking your kids. OR, before letting them watch it on Disney Plus. Otherwise, it's a fairly good movie.

Old
Runtime: 1 hour 48 minutes
Release Date: July 23, 2021
Director: M. Night Shyamalan
Starring: Gael Garcia Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Alex Wolff, Thomasin Mckenzie
This latest flick from Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, is about two families who go on vacation to a mysterious beach that makes people age rapidly within the matter of one day. This is a pretty good and intense film, I think the average moviegoer is gonna like it, and there's a plot twist towards the end that I think will surprise you. Parents, I don't think your kids would be interested in this film, and on top of that, like I said, this film is intense, and it's got a lot of stuff that I think your kids may not like. So, I wouldn't take them to see this movie if I were you. But other than that, I think the average moviegoer is gonna like this. Yes I know, some people may not like it but, that's just my opinion. Definitely getting the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

Space Jam: A New Legacy
Rated: PG
Runtime: 1 hour 55 minutes
Release Date: July 16, 2021
Director: Malcom D. Lee
Starring: LeBron James, Don Cheadle, Bugs Bunny
In this sequel to the 1996 film Space Jam, NBA Star LeBron James, must team up with the Loony Toons, to play a game of basketball against a rogue artificial intelligence named Al G. Rhythm (Don Cheadle), after he kidnapped his son. In order to rescue him, James and the toons must play the game and win.
This is a fun film, and I think it's better than the first film! Seriously, How many good movies do I have to see that get trashed by the internet! Seriously, C'mon people! It's full of references to characters like Batman, and Superman. By the way, that's the only spoilers your getting. Well, at least from me. Parents, this is a obviously a kids film, so take them to the theater to see it! and don't watch it via HBOMax, that's not the proper way to see a new movie.

Black Widow
Runtime: 2 hours 13 minutes
Director: Cate Shortland
Starring: Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh
This film is about Natasha Romanoff (Johansson), Who confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. She now reunites with her sister Yelena (Pugh), and her parents to stop a force that will stop at nothing to bringer her down. I thought it was a ok movie, not a bad film. But, just your average summer blockbuster popcorn movie. It's not as good as Avengers: Endgame but, if your a true hardcore marvel fan, I think you'll be fine with it. Parents, there is your average amount of PG-13 violence, so I'd click here, to go to the IMDB parent's guide to decide to whether or not let your kids see it.

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway
Runtime: 1 hour 33 minutes
Release Date: June 11, 2021
Director: Will Gluck
Starring: Domhall Gleeson, Rose Byrne
A follow-up to the 2018 film Peter Rabbit, Thomas and Bea are now married and now live with Peter Rabbit and his rabbit family. Eventually, they travel to the big city to work on publishing Bea's new book, which chronicles the events of the first film. While there, Peter meets an old friend of the family, who turned out to be a rather shady character. Parents, I think your kids will enjoy this film. Although, I don't necessarily think it's better than the first film, but there are some hilarious moments in it. So, take the whole family to see it!

In the Heights
Runtime: 2 hours 23 minutes
Release Date: June 11, 2021
Director: Jon M. Chu

This adaptation of the musical of the same name, is about a business owner who has dreams of winning the lottery and returning to his native Dominican republic. ultimately, he and the residents of the close-knit neighborhood get a dose of what it means to be home. I thought this was good movie. Wasn't too bad or anything but parents, you might wanna see this movie by yourself before deciding to whether or not let your kids see it. I mean, there is a little bit of foul language here and there, but not too much. but otherwise, go see it if your interested.

Spirit Untamed
Runtime: 1 hour 27 minutes
Release Date: June 4, 2021
Directors: Elaine Bogan, Ennio Torresan
Featuring the voices: Isabela Merced, Jake Gyllenall, Julianne Moore, McKenna Grace
This dreamworks animated feature is about a young girl named Lucky Prescott, who befriends a wild mustang named Spirit. When his family gets taken away by thieves, Lucky and Spirit set off on adventure to rescue them. This is a good family-friendly film, but it's not gonna be on my list of top 10 best movies of the year, but it is a good one. Parents, take your young ones to this film (although you might wanna have them follow safety COVID precautions (i.e. masks, social distancing) if necessary), 'Cause there's family-fun for everyone! It's a good movie! Go see it!

Cruella
Rated: PG-13
Runtime: 2 hours 14 minutes
Release Date: May 28, 2021
Director: Craig Gellespie
Starring: Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Joel Fry
This movie chronicles the young life of infamous Disney Villain, Cruella DeVil and how she came to be. This is a good movie, one I would probably see again in the future. Although, I think Disney unintentionally made an adult film. You know, a movie that's meant only for adults. There's a lot of adult stuff in the film, mainly a plot twist which I won't go into any detail about. So parents, even though this is a Disney film, I'd see the movie first, before letting your kids see it.

A Quiet Place Part II
Rated: PG-13
Runtime: 1 hour 37 minutes
Release Date: May 28, 2021
Director: John Krasinski
Starring: Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmons, Cillian Murphy, Noah Jupe
Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. While there, they realize that the creatures are not the only threats out there. I think this movie is just as good as the first film, some say that it may be even better. It was supposed to come out in March of 2020, but was held
off at the very last minute due to COVID-19. however, unlike many studios that gave some of their films to streaming services, Paramount Pictures decided to hold onto this film, until they decided that it was the right time to release it. Also, unlike Disney and Warner Brothers, Paramount decided not to do a "hybrid" release. In other words, they decided not to do a theater and streaming service release, but instead they stuck to a theaters only release. Parents, I'd see this film alone first, before deciding to whether or not let your kids see it. The creatures in this film (and the first one) maybe a little eerie-looking for them. Overall, I thought it was a good movie, and I bet there might be a Part 3 in the works. So, if your a horror fan, and if you've been looking forward to this film for a long time, go see it!
