Paw Patrol: The Movie

 Rated: G

Runtime: 1 hour 26 minutes

Release Date: August 20, 2021

Director: Cal Brunker

Featuring The Voices of: Tyler Perry, Jimmy Kimmel, Kim Kardashian

Based on the cartoon show Paw Patrol, Ryder and everyone's favorite heroic pups kick into high gear to stop the mayor of a nearby city from wreaking havoc! While one of the pups must face his past in that city, the team finds help from the savvy dachshund liberty. Together, armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW patrol fight to save the city, and stop their mayor from destroying the bustling metropolis!

I thought this movie was good, and I enjoyed the picture. It's a good, fun, family-friendly movie. It does, however, does dive into the topic of PTSD a little bit, so for those of you who are veterans, or anyone else that deals with the disorder, there's the warning. Parents, this is obviously a family movie, so aside from the PTSD, there's family-fun for everyone! If you haven't already, take the whole family (including the kids of course) to see it in a theater, and not on streaming!

Free Guy

Rated: PG-13

Runtime: 1 hour 55 minutes

Release Date: August 13, 2021

Director: Shawn Levy

Starring: Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, and Taika Waititi

This film is set in a video game called Free City, and it's about a bank teller (Reynolds), who discovers he's a Non Player Character, and the makers of that game have a huge secret. I thought that this was a pretty good movie, and I think your gonna have a pretty good time at the movies. Parents, this is a PG-13 rated film and believe it or not, when I first heard about this movie, I thought it was gonna be rated PG. But, the language in the film is apparently too strong for PG. So, I'd click here, and then determine to whether or not let your kids see this film. So other than that, it's a pretty good film.

Jungle Cruise

 Rated: PG-13

Runtime: 2 hours 7 minutes

Release Date: July 30, 2021

Director: Jaume Collet-Serra

Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt

This latest flick that's based on a Disneyland attraction, is about an adventurer named Lily Houghton (Blunt) who goes on adventure through the jungle with a "Skipper" named Frank Wolff (Johnson), and they encounter dangerous animals and reptiles, but with a supernatural element. This movie, is a fun, enjoyable movie. It certainly has the spirit of movies like Indiana Jones, and The Mummy from 1999. Parents, this is a PG-13 Rated Disney Film, even though it has the Disney title on it, I'd be cautious about taking your little kids to this film. So, I'd click here if i were you,
and check the Parents Guide on IMDB before taking your kids. OR, before letting them watch it on Disney Plus. Otherwise, it's a fairly good movie.
