Chaos Walking

 Rated: PG-13

Runtime: 1 hour 49 minutes

Release Date: March 5, 2021

Director: Doug Liman

Starring: Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley

In a world where there are no women, and all living creatures can hear each other's thoughts, a young woman crash lands on the planet, thus putting her life in danger. As a young man vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power, and unlock the planet's dark secrets.

This movie, is a ok movie. It's not bad, just ok. This movie, has been in "production limbo" for at least 3-4 years. It was initially filmed in 2017, and went through some reshoots in 2019. Don't quote me on that, And, I think it was supposed to be released in 2018. When you watch this film, you can tell by the end of the film, that Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley, have aged a little bit. Yeah, that's how long the film was in production limbo. Parents, I'd see this film first, before showing it to your kids.

Raya and the last Dragon

 Rated: PG

Release Date: March 5, 2021

Directors: Don Hall, Carlos Lopez Estrada

Stars: Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina

This latest Disney animated picture is about a young woman named Raya, who lives in the fictional world of Kumandra, where long ago humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when monsters called the drunn threatened the land, the dragons had to sacrifice themselves to save humanity. now, 500 years later, the drunn returned, and it's now up to Raya to hunt down the last dragon. and stop the drunn for good.

This movie, is a good movie. As I was sitting in the theater watching this film, I couldn't help but compare to what's happening on the screen, to what's currently happening in real life right now, you know with the COVID-19 pandemic and all that. There is a really good message in this picture, and that message is trust. Parents, there may be some parts of this film that your kids may ask you about while they watch it. so, I highly suggest that you watch it with them just in case.

Final Grade:

A+

P.S.

People, if you live in a area where theaters are showing this film that are open, do me a favor, and see it that way! Not on Disney+. Theaters, are the best way to see it, trust me.

Tom and Jerry

 Rated: PG

Runtime: 1 hour 41 minutes

Release Date: February 26, 2021

Director: Tim Story

Starring: Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena

This adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, is about a young woman who poses as a hotel employee, who appoints a cat to get rid of a mouse that's infesting the hotel, while she helps the hotel prepare for a wedding.  I thought this movie was enjoyable, I don't know why the internet is trashing it! Seriously, it needs to stop trashing movies! It's a good family-friendly film. One that I know kids will enjoy! Parents, please do not show your kids this movie on HBO Max, take them to the theater if possible. That's how I saw this film.

Final Grade:

C+

P.S.

One of the stars of this film, is none other than my Hollywood crush Chloe Grace Moretz, who apparently hasn't been in the movies very much lately. I have yet to see her do a big $500 million dollar making at the box office blockbuster.
