Runtime: 1 hour 46 minutes

Release Date: July 29, 2022

Directors: Jared Stern, Sam Levine

Featuring the voices of: Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Vanessa Bayer, Diego Luna, John Krasinski, Kate McKinnon

This animated film is about Superman's dog Krypto (voiced by Johnson), who at first thinks that there's a different meaning to A dog is a man's best friend (or however you say it). Because he and Superman grew up together in a farm near a little known town called Smallville. But when Superman, and the other members of the Justice League are captured. Krypto teams up with a group of shelter pets, and form a league of Super pets, and save the man of steel, and the rest of the Justice League from a evil villain's evil scheme.

I think it's a fairly good movie. Like I said in the video below, I think it's a good movie that kids will enjoy. Parents, If your kids had a choice, of seeing either this movie, or Minions, Thor, or Paws of Fury, I'd say take them to see this one. Because, if you've been wanting to take the kids to a DC movie, but your worried that it may be a little too violent for them, don't worry, this film is not violent. It's rated PG. It should be ok for them.

The Bad Guys

 Rated: PG

Runtime: 1 hour 40 minutes

Director: Piere Perifel

Featuring the voices of: Sam Rockwell, Mark Maron, Awkwafina

This animated family-friendly feature is about a group of notorious criminals, who after a lifetime of committing legendary heists, pull of their most challenging con yet in order to avoid a prison sentence: becoming model citizens. Under the tutelage of their mentor, professor marmalade, the gang decides to deceive the world that they're turning good.

Guys, First of all, Do not be deceived by the title! This isn't a R-rated prison flick! As a side note, I remember a few months ago, when I went to see Sing 2, they showed the trailer for this movie before it, and I asked the lady sitting right next to me "Don't you think that's a misleading title?" and She was like "Should be called 'The Confused Guys'." It's actually a animated family-friendly film. Parents, I think there are some good messages here so, take the kids to see it!

Fantastic Beasts The Secrets of Dumbledore

 Rated: PG-13

Runtime: 2 hours 22 minutes

Director: David Yates

Starring: Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Mads Mikkelson, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterson, Alison Sudol

In this latest installment of the Harry Potter prequel series Fantastic Beasts, Albus Dumbledore (Law) finds himself unable to stop the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mikkelson) from moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Newt Scamander (Redmayne) leads a team of wizards, witches, and a muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers.

This movie is better than Crimes of Grindelwald! I think Mads Mikkelson is a perfect upgrade from Johnny Depp as Grindelwald, and if your a hard-core Potter-head, I think your gonna enjoy this one. Parents, Click here before taking your kids. Because, I think there is one thing, One thing! That you might find objectionable.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

 Rated: PG

Runtime: 2 hours 2 minutes

Release Date: April 8, 2022

Director: Jeff Fowler

Starring: Jim Carrey, James Marsden and featuring the voices of: Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, Collen O'Shauhnessey

In this follow up to the 2020 film Sonic The Hedgehog, Dr. Robotnik (Carrey) returns to earth with a new partner named Knuckles (Elba) in search of a emerald that has the power to both build and destroy civilizations. Sonic now has to team up with his own sidekick, tails, to find it before it's too late.

I fairly enjoyed this movie. Although it's not quite as good as the first Sonic movie, but it had it's moments. There are some references to other movies in this film, and I liked that. I came out of the theater asking this one lady if she thinks that there'll be a Sonic 3, she was like "I hope so." Parents, take the kids to this film! There's family-fun for everyone!
