      Ensconced in her sprawling San Jose, California Mansion, eccentric firearm heiress Sarah Winchester (Mirren) Believes she is haunted by the souls of people killed by the winchester repeating rifle. I thought this was a very interesting film. The last half hour was indeed the most intense. Parents: I don't think you'd wanna show your kids this film. It's pretty intense for them.

No Time to Die

Starring: Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux, Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes

        In this latest James Bond adventure, Bond (James Bond) (Craig) is retired from the MI6, and his peace is short lived when a old friend from the CIA turns up, leading him up to a mysterious villain (Malek) with dangerous technology. This is supposedly the last Bond film with Daniel Craig as the famous 007 agent, and I think this is a good sendoff for him. Even though it's not as good as Skyfall, but the ending is pretty emotional. Parents, this is a typical PG-13 rated action film. So, expect your typical PG-13 violence. So, I don't think your kids might be interested in this movie. Unless, your teens are really into action films like this, and Marvel. So, You should probably click here, before deciding to whether or not let your teens see it. Overall, I think it's a good movie.

A Quiet Place

       Following an apocalypse, a family literally lives in absolute silence, in order to survive and hide from monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing. I can remember when I first saw this film in theaters back in 2018, I thought that it was a really intense film, and I still do. I'm writing this review in May of 2021, and I'm doing so in anticipation of A Quiet Place Part II (click here for my review for that movie). Although, A Quiet Place (Part 1) is a good film, but parents, this 2018 horror hit may be a little intense (or scary) for your little ones. So, you probably should keep them away from this film.

The Ring

     After discovering a mysterious videotape that kills it's viewers after one week of watching it, a young journalist must investigate it before her time is up. This movie, is a good PG-13 horror movie. Although, it's got some scary moments, namely the contents of the videotape, and some creepy faces. Parents, this is obviously a horror film, so you might wanna keep your young kids away from this film.

Venom: Let there be Carnage

Starring: Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Woody Harrelson, Naomi Harris

   

          In this Sequel to the 2018 hit Venom,  Eddie Brock (Hardy) interviews serial killer Cletus Kasady (Harrelson) who, after a failed execution, becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage. It's a good movie, but incredibly violent. Parents, this is a PG-13 rated film, and I think it's too strong for young kids. I don't know how Sony Pictures, who made this film, escaped the chance of getting a R rating! So please, keep your young kids away from this flick! But if your an adult, and if you've seen and liked the first Venom movie, I think you'll like this one.

When A Stranger Calls

    This Thriller is based on a urban legend known as "The Babysitter and the man upstairs," where a babysitter receives suspicious phone calls. She locks up the house and arms the security system, only to discover that the calls are not where she thinks they're coming from.

    This is a pretty intense movie. It's one of those movies that start off pretty slow, but it picks up as it progresses. I remember back when it first came out, one of my classmates saw it, and he said it was scary. I don't think it's as intense as he probably thought it was, but the I think the most intense part of it was the last 15-20 minutes. Parents, this film might be nightmare-inducing to young kids. So, you probably keep them away from this film as possible.

Dear Evan Hansen

     This adaptation of the Broadway Musical Dear Evan Hansen,  is about a high school senior with Social Anxiety disorder named Evan Hansen (Platt), who goes through a journey of self-discovery and acceptance following the suicide of his fellow classmate Connor Murphy. This Movie, is a good movie. I think it's better than the movie In the Heights, which is also a Broadway-to-film adaptation, and I think I'll get the blu-ray when it comes out. it deals with Social Anxiety, suicide, and death I think, in a way that I think is the the best way that they're dealt with in the movies that I've seen in probably ever! Parents, I think they could've cut just a little bit of stuff out of this movie in order to get it down to a PG. It may not be for your little ones, but your teens might be ok with it. Cry Macho

     Based on the novel of the same name, Clint Eastwood Stars as a one-time rodeo star and washed-up horse breeder who, in 1978, takes a job from a ex-boss to bring the man's young son home and away from his alcoholic mom. During the journey, the unlikely pair faces unexpecting challenges, the world-weary horseman may find his own sense of redemption through teaching the boy what it means to be a good man.

      I thought it was a good movie, and I'll definitely rent this one when it comes out on Blu-Ray. I think this film is aimed toward the Senior-Age Demographic So Parents, I don't think this movie is gonna be of any interest to small kids. But Teens, they might like it a little bit, but probably not very much. And, there's also a little bit of foul language in it. So, parents I'd keep your young ones away from this film, but grandparents might like it.

     Shang-Chi, the master of unarmed weaponry based Kung Fu, is forced to confront his past after being drawn into the Ten Rings organization. This movie, is a great movie. I think your gonna have a really good time at the movies with this one. It's enjoyable, full of
action, the visuals are really good, and overall, it's a really good film. Parents, click here in order to decide to take your young ones to this film.

Paw Patrol: The Movie

Featuring The Voices of: Tyler Perry, Jimmy Kimmel, Kim Kardashian

     Based on the cartoon show Paw Patrol, Ryder and everyone's favorite heroic pups kick into high gear to stop the mayor of a nearby city from wreaking havoc! While one of the pups must face his past in that city, the team finds help from the savvy dachshund liberty. Together, armed with exciting new gadgets and gear, the PAW patrol fight to save the city, and stop their mayor from destroying the bustling metropolis! 

   I thought this movie was good, and I enjoyed the picture. It's a good, fun, family-friendly movie. It does, however, does dive into the topic of PTSD a little bit, so for those of you who are veterans, or anyone else that deals with the disorder, there's the warning. Parents, this is obviously a family movie, so aside from the PTSD, there's family-fun for everyone! If you haven't already, take the whole family (including the kids of course) to see it in a theater, and not on streaming!
