Alpha movie review

Rating: PG-13
Release Date: August 17, 2018
Runtime: 1 hour 36 minutes
Director: Albert Hughes
Starring: Kodi Smit-McPhee

This coming of age that takes place in prehistoric times, a young man who gets separated from his tribe, he befriends a wolf, and starts a companionship that would change humanity while trying to find, and be reunited with his family. This is a really good movie, and I think it's one of the years best films. If you haven't seen it yet, go see it!

Slender Man

Rated: PG-13
Release Date: August 10, 2018
Runtime: 1 hour 33 minutes
Director: Sylvain White
Starring: Joey King, Julia Goldani Teiles, Jaz Sinclair

I don't understand why most people hate this PG-13 horror flick that about four girls who summon the fictional character, The Slender Man. And then, one of them mysteriously vanishes. Again, I don't understand why! It's very intense, especially towards the ending. Parents, if you have children under the age of 13, DO NOT take them to this movie! It might be too scary for them! If you have teenagers, they might be bored by it. Again, I don't understand why most people are absolutely trashing this suspenseful flick!

The Meg

Rated: PG-13
Runtime: 1 hour 53 minutes
Release Date: August 10, 2018
Director: Jon Turteltaub
Starring: Jason Statham, Rainn Wilson, Bingbing Li

In this Jaws remake wannabe, Jonas Taylor (Statham) confronts his fear of sharks to save people that were trapped in a sunken submarine. Besides that, there are actually multiple plots in this film, none which I'll spoil, but if you want to know them, then you might wanna sacrifice the time and money this weekend, and go see it. I thought it was ok, the effects were kind of cheap and cheesy. Like I said, if you wanna sacrifice the time and money to see this movie this weekend, go ahead. WARNING: it may be too intense for younger children.

Mission Impossible: Fallout

Rated: PG-13
Runtime: 2 hours, 27 minutes
Release date: July 27, 2018
Directed By: Christopher McQuarrie

In this latest installment, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team, must race against time with some familiar allies, and find and stop a man from carrying out a plan, after a mission gone wrong. It's a good action movie, one of the best I've seen. The part that really caught my attention, is the climax. To me, that's the best part! If you like action movies, go see it!

Rated: PG
Release Date: July 27, 2018

In this family movie, A team of five teenage superheros have a dream of hollywood stardom. However, A villain has a plan of world domination that sidetracks them. This is a wonderfully good movie about achieving your dreams, and never give up. It's hilarious! however, parents/guardians, I must warn you, the movie is rated PG but, some of the jokes maybe on the objectionable side. Like i said, it's wonderfully good movie, and I encourage you all to go see it. That is, if your not interested in flicks like Mission:Impossible (Fallout).

R.I.P. Jon Schnepp 1967-2018

Okay, this is a post that I never thought that I would right. I've got some sad news within the world of movies, youtube, entertainment, etc. Jon Schnepp, a creator, and a host on the Collidervideos Youtube channel, Passed away peacefully yesterday. I heard that he had been in the hospital recently, and was in critical condition. According to Collider.com, he had so many health issues that apparently, the end was near. I donated $2 to his family, to help cover medical expenses. Now, obviously he stepped through the veil, I guess they'll use those $2 to help cover funeral arrangements.

To the family, if your reading this, I'm sorry for your loss, I know what your going through. 6 years ago, this coming week, my mom passed away peacefully of cancer. I know that Jon (and my mom) is now in heaven with God. The important thing is that he is now free of his pain and suffering. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
